Leticia
Santos
Mrs. Leticia Santos Hernandez has 10 years of experience in
the Industry of safety in the transportation. She has worked with the Federal
Government controlling to companies in the fulfillment of the Federal
regulations, during 6 years. During that period she took numerous trainings that
certified her as the only Inspector in Pipeline Safety in Puerto Rico. She went
from inspector to be Director of the Federal Program in the Island. As Director,
she organized training for the operators (companies), attended Regional meetings
in the U.S.A. annually to offer report of status of the Program to the Officials
of Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) of the Federal Department of Transportation
(DOT)
In the past 4 years Mrs. Santos performed as Safety and
Health Manager for Camioneros Cooperativa de Transporte de Carga. In this time
Mrs. Santos developed and implemented the Safety Program for this Company;
including training and orientation for drivers, shop personnel and office
personnel.
As part of her functions, besides to implement the
Company’s Safety Program, she also implemented and helped to modify, the Safety
Programs of International oil Companies such as EXXON, Shell, Texaco, CAPECO and
Better Roads among others in Puerto Rico.
In those 4 years Mrs. Santos developed emergency plans,
modified work places, made analysis of risks, Hazard analysis, trained personnel
and supervisors, as well as to management personnel from several of the clients.
Mrs. Santos has received formal training in all the aspects
of Health and Occupational Safety, including 30 hours of OSHA credited by the
Colegio de Ingenieros of Puerto Rico. In addition she has received education in
Emergency Response, Incident
Command System (ICS), Hazardous
Materials (Technician/Trainer), Investigation of Accidents and Defensive Driving
(Trainer) among others.
Carlos Rivera
Mr. Carlos Rivera has performed in several areas of the
Emergency Response. He worked as Emergency Response Technician for the
Civil Defense of San Juan for 13 years. During his years in the CD, being, in
addition to paramedic, radio operator licensed by the FCC, he offered training
on Radio Communications to volunteers and employees of the same Agency. In
addition he stood out by his work during the response of the spill of the Morris
J. Burnham, as Site Safety Officer for FEMA and the Coast Guard. During his
years in the Civil Defense, he worked as Interagency Coordinator, outstanding in
the Emergency Center of Operations (COE) of the Police of Puerto Rico. For two
years he worked as Safety Manager for Horizon Environmental.
Pedro Canninni
Mr. Canninni is our tanks Inspector. Certified by DOT since
1993 and Frühauf since 1983, he has worked with companies like the ESSO. He
converted all tanks of the ESSO’s Caribbean area from top loading to bottom
loading. He is also available to honor the guarantees of Frühauf. He makes
works for Heil Tanks at the request of the company.
Jose J. Rodriguez
Mr. Jose J. Rodriguez is an expert in fire extinction. He
worked during many years in the Civil Defense, as Instructor of Fire
extinguishing, Director of the Academy of the DC and as Supervisor of the
operational area.
